If your teeth are crooked you can be sure that your dentist is going to tell you to get them straightened, but you might not want to commit to something like braces for no other reason than that they just don’t look good. For example, if you are in high school you would view those years as the most important of your life and you would want to look good in them no matter what. However, not dealing with crooked teeth early on can lead to several problems later on in life, so this is quite a conundrum that you would find yourself in.
Thankfully, there is a much more aesthetically pleasing way to straighten your teeth out and this is called invisalign. Invisalign is basically a set of transparent braces that are set on your teeth until removed. As a result you don’t have to look like you have a mouth full of metal. An additional benefit is that they are a lot more comfortable to wear. Braces tend to cause quite a bit of discomfort and this discomfort can even descend into pain if the dentist did not do a good job. With invisalign this would not be the case at all, and you would also be able to chew your food without it getting stuck as would be the case with braces.
The fact of the matter is that braces & invisalign treatment both provide the same end result, but the latter is better looking, more comfortable and more convenient and is thus clearly the superior. It should be noted, however, that they tend to cost more than braces do, so you need to weigh the pros and cons to ascertain whether or not they are truly worth it.
